By booking one of our houses, the guest agrees and accepts our terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, check for updates to your booking and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
- Minimum age to book, 18 years old;
- Regardless of the number of rooms or number of guests, the house will be reserved exclusively by the guest;
- After the booking is confirmed, an email will be sent with detailed information about the procedures to follow and some questions will be asked to help us better prepare for the arrival of our guests;
- Any change that the guest wishes to make should be communicated in advance in order to avoid misunderstandings and wait for the confirmation of HomeConnect Stories;
- Check-in and check-out times are indicated on each house. Late or early check-in or check-out is subject to prior arrangement and without confirmation from HomeConnect will not be possible. It may also be subject to a payment fee, depending on the time and to be paid in cash;
- According to Portuguese law, no noise is allowed between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. and the emission of noises, provided they are disturbing, bothersome and cause a poor quality of life, should also be avoided during the remaining hours of the day;
- Parties or Events, are prohibited;
- Smoking inside homes is prohibited;
- Pets are not allowed;
- Basic hygiene rules should be respected, such as not leaving garbage inside the house and the guest should use the public containers, leaving accumulated dishes unwashed or tidy;
- The guest may not remove or modify the arrangement of the furniture or any decorative element;
- The maximum capacity of guests indicated in each house, may not be exceeded;
- The guest is not allowed to sub-let the house in any way;
- The guest whose name appears on the booking confirmation email will be responsible for the behavior of the entire group and agrees not to use any illegal activity during their stay;
- If the guest detects any anomaly, he/she must report it to the property manager immediately. The guest will be informed about the time of entry to the holiday home, whenever possible, at a mutually possible time. However, if a mutually possible time is not possible, HomeConnect Stories reserves the right to enter, even when the guest cannot be present, but always respecting the guest's privacy. Depending on the problem, resolution may take up to 72h or longer if relying on third party services. HomeConnect Stories is not responsible for potential delays or fees that are related to our partners' services;
- The photographs, videos and descriptions of the houses are produced by HomeConnect Stories. Changes may occur compared to them, without compromising the general condition and amenities;
- We do not refund or re-house guests based on taste;
- It is the guest's responsibility to confirm, prior to booking, the location of the holiday home;
- HomeConnect Stories is not responsible for any deficiencies in the gas, electricity, water or internet supply;
- A set of keys will be handed out at check-in. If the guest loses them or leaves them inside the house, it may take up to 45 minutes for us to arrive at the house to assess the situation and take action. Additional fees will be charged for keys left inside each and for lost keys, the guest will also be responsible for the full amount charged by the service provider. These must be returned at the time of check-out.
- Any belongings left in the house after check-out, can be returned upon request. However, the guest will be responsible for all expenses related to process;
- In the event of guests not complying with the terms and conditions, the detailed information to be sent after the booking is confirmed or in the event of misbehaviour by guests, during their stay, HomeConnect Stories reserves the right to require guests to leave the holiday home, without any refund, and may also if so required apply to the police authorities and any additional costs will be the responsibility of the guest.
